Welcome to 25/8 Dispatch LLC

Owner-operators must find high-paying freight if they wish to generate a decent income. A trucking dispatch service functions to help these individuals find loads. When doing so, the service finds safe and reliable loads at the best rates possible.

Our dispatch service handles negotiations on behalf of the owner-operators. It also provides back-end support while helping each owner-operator manage their business. Furthermore, many trucking companies choose to work with freight dispatching services to receive the same help. What benefits come with using a truck dispatching service?

The Benefits of Using a Truck Dispatch Service

Owner-operators making use of a dispatch service find they have a logistic arm to support their operation. The freight dispatch service connect drivers to loads in less time, so drivers encounter fewer empty miles. In addition, drivers find the service helps them route around hazards, which is of great help in ensuring loads arrive at their destinations in a timely manner. Furthermore, we help owner-operators and trucking companies handle the paperwork associated with business operations. This includes billing, collections, carrier compliance paperwork, and more.

Our freight dispatch service negotiates on behalf of the trucker. It negotiates these rates while considering the locations where the trucker is going. In addition, the service will negotiate higher rates to compensate for any empty miles needed for the next load. Truckers feel confident they are working with credit-worthy entities when they partner with our dispatch service. We monitor the credit of clients to ensure they can pay as agreed. In addition, we handle factoring on behalf of the owner-operator or trucking company. The service submits freight bills to the factoring provider to ensure timely payments.

Load boards allow shippers and carriers to connect with one another. The broker or shipper posts a load on the online system, including information about the items to be carried, the pickup location and destination, the delivery date, the weight of the load, and the type of carrier vehicle needed.

However, load boards vary in terms of their usefulness to owner-operators and trucking companies. Each driver or company must choose which load boards meet their needs and will provide them with the best job opportunities. Load boards we use for our operations include Truckstop.com dat.com, 123loadboard.com and Dedicated Lanes.

When comparing freight dispatching services, select a service using a load board that allows for unlimited searches. An effective board notifies users when the system finds a match. This allows drivers to get more jobs that meet their requirements. Using multiple load boards allows us to find more jobs for our partners.

Routine and Scaling

Many drivers request dedicated lanes, where they haul freight for a customer using the same route every time. The trucker benefits from working with one company as they know the routes, the schedules, and the people they will interact with on the route. Often referred to as dedicated, contract, or primary freight, this type of load remains preferred by many truckers in the industry today.

When a driver takes on this contract, they know they have steady and consistent business. They spend less time finding new clients and more time making money. The trucker may reserve all or part of each load for this shipper or broker and continue to do so for the length of the contract.

However, the trucker must select the right dedicated lanes. They need to consider state regulations and highway systems, the location and terrain, toll fees, and more. In addition, the availability of freight plays a role in which dedicated lanes provide the highest profit. Our dispatch services for owner operators secure profitable dedicated lanes for clients.

Thanks to the long-term agreement between the parties, a driver or company can budget for the future and plan. Stability serves as one reason drivers prefer dedicated routes, as they know how much pay they will receive. Furthermore, they build a strong relationship with those on their route.

Dispatching services and freight brokers share many similarities. Both industries function to match carriers and shippers while handling broad logistic issues for drivers. What distinguishes the two is the way they get paid.

DISPATCHERS represent the CARRIER.

Our Dispatch Services for Owner Operators bill the owner-operator or the trucking company with whom they have a partnership. They put this relationship above the partnership they have with shippers. The dispatch provider works for the owner-operator or trucking company. As the dispatch service takes a percentage of the carrier’s rate, they are incentivized to find high-paying freight. Furthermore, they want to build a relationship with the drivers and trucking companies, so they often keep a log of each carrier’s lane preferences, equipment specifications, and desired rates. This allows them to quickly and easily match a carrier with a route they desire. Our company functions as a freight dispatch service for these reasons and many more.

BROKERS represents themselves not the SHIPPER.

Freight brokers bill shippers rather than trucking companies and owner-operators. They charge the highest rate they can get. The broker then pays the carrier the lowest rate it can, keeping the difference between the two as their fee. They put their interests above those of the drivers.
